Aug2-7/07, went to DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, NY and Long Island with my family, it was a sweet nice trip along with awesome weather.

never been driving that long...from toronto to DC, we drove more than 10 hrs... and at the time we passed the boarder around 6pm~there were no line ups at all....how rare is that eh..

the green was all along the road, so greeen~i have to emphasize on this..

washington was cool! dont mean the weather~im talking about the buildings....it stands for the US, shows the power, its $$$, and its 气势 (damn, how to say this word in english~@..@)

unfortunately we arrived too late~missed the chance to visit the inside of washington monument, and capitol hill, and something stupid is: if u wanna take a look at the inside of the white house, u have to book ur ticket 6 MONTHs in advance.......wut a shit is that...

p.s. went to washington again a week later, so eager to see the capitol hill. but still missed the tickets distributing time.....(巨积caused that, i g2 make a note here)

theres nothing much about Baltimore actually, the only thing i learned was: crab stands for this city, and lobster stands for boston, for no reasons

never heard of that so many constitutions and major decisions were passed in Philadelphia...sounds so important....and we saw the house that Mr Washington worked and lived in...

NY....hard to say.....fantastic but old....it looks older than i imagined...stores are good but not affordable~lol, streets are dirty and narrow, parking lot was too expensive(more than 30 dollars), all the residents are the poor ppl, rich ones live in long island.

btw, the statue of freedom is good to seee, and we were lucky to get three tickets by accident...lol, the overall looking of the Downtown Manhatan is not as good as the one with the world trade centre.....they do need a super skytower to lead all the rest. Ellis Island was the place that everyone first arrived in the state, its the entrance of the US, its where give u the permission to go in or be sent bk, just like the borders in current years

We went to Long island the next day, wondering to see those super bloody expensive houses....and after 2 hrs of driving~wut all u could see was the tall trees along the road, big gate with a narrow but long road towards the house~but u cant see the house at all...or say~u can hardly see the actual luxury building there..........thats probably the way that rich rich ppl live ba.....

end..
